Braces & aligners

Clear Aligners

Clear aligners are a series of removable trays, each shaped slightly differently, that gradually move teeth.

What a consultation may cover

  • Whether your teeth and bite can be treated with aligners
  • How many hours a day they need to be worn
  • Records such as scans and photos

What to expect

Your teeth are scanned and a plan is made. You'll switch trays on a schedule and come in for check-ins.

Things to know

Aligners only work when worn as directed. Some bite problems are better treated another way.

Questions to ask your dentist

  • Am I a good candidate for aligners?
  • What happens if I lose a tray?
  • Will I need a retainer after?

General information, not medical advice. Your dentist can advise what suits you.
