Privacy

This website only collects what you choose to give us:

• Appointment requests: your first name, a callback phone number and, if you add them, an email address, whether you're a new or existing patient, a preferred time of day and how you'd like to be contacted.
• Online patient forms: your name, date of birth, contact details, emergency contact, dental coverage, dental history, medical history (such as medications, allergies and conditions) and your typed signature.
• "Find your care" helper: the words you type about your concern.

Please only put health information in the online patient forms, not in appointment requests or the helper.

The website has no advertising trackers, no analytics and no session recording.

We use request details only to contact you about your request. A request is not a booked appointment.

We use patient form answers to register you and to plan safe dental care. Your dentist reviews them with you at your visit.

Text typed into the "Find your care" helper is sent to an AI service to suggest pages on this site. This website does not store it or link it to you. The AI service that processes it may keep records under its own policies, so please leave out personal or health details.

We don't sell personal information or use it for marketing.

By sending a request or your patient forms, you agree that we can use those details as described here. You can withdraw consent at any time by calling or emailing us. Withdrawing consent may limit the care we can safely provide, and we'll explain if it does.

If we ever ask to send you reminders or news, we will ask separately. Saying no won't affect your care.

• Our secure hosting and database provider stores online patient forms on our behalf. They can't use your information for their own purposes.
• YouTube plays our office video. YouTube may receive your browser's technical details.
• Google Fonts provides the lettering on this site.
• Google Maps opens only when you tap "Get directions." Our Google reviews are fetched by our server, so your browser isn't sent to Google to show them.
• An AI service handles the "Find your care" helper, as described above.

We keep your information only as long as we need it to provide your care and to meet our legal and professional record-keeping duties in Ontario.

If you send forms but never become a patient, you can ask us to delete them.

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have website requests and forms deleted. Email dentalcare@ildertondental.ca or call (519) 914-5355. We may need to confirm who you are first.

We can't delete clinical records we're legally required to keep, but we will tell you if that applies.

If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.

Online forms are encrypted when sent and stored in a protected database. Only clinic staff who have been given access can read them, and no patient details are written to website logs.

Please don't email completed forms or health details, because email isn't secure. Use the online forms or bring paper forms to your visit.
